Best Makeup Products for People Who Don’t Wear Makeup, Part II
Y’all my post Best Makeup Products For People Who Don’t Wear Makeup has blown up! I took it upon myself to do a bit more “research” to find even more of the best makeup products for people who don’t wear makeup.
I am all about sleeping in until the last possible minute to get as much sleep as possible. All of the following makeup products I use at least 5 days a week.
You know after you’ve had a really long day and you look in the mirror to find that your eye shadow and eye liner have somehow only survived in the creases of your eyelids? Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion gets rid of this problem completely! This primer is a nude matte shade, glides on smoothly and offers full coverage (giving you a gorgeously subtle look when worn alone) while hiding ALL redness.
Finding a really great correcting foundation can be very difficult. I love the ULTA Color Correcting Foundation & Primer Stick because it has a built in green core (yes, the middle of this stick is actually green) to help neutralize redness while the outer portion smooths and perfects skin.
I am sticking to my to original post in calling this foundation primer the absolute best! This oil-free primer leaves your skin looking flawless and feeling velvety smooth by filling in fine lines and pores. My makeup lasts hours longer when I use this primer in the morning. Absolutely worth the additional cost!
I actually stumbled across Maybelline Fit Me Foundations after reading a Buzzfeed article that stated this foundation was the number one selling foundation on Amazon. I’ve been buying Urban Decay’s ‘Naked Skin’ foundation for years but it has always been painful to spend $40 on foundation so I decided to give Maybelline a try. AND I LOVE IT! My only complaint (if you can even call it that) is that I wish it came with a pump but I understand that adds cost to the packaging so I’ll think I’ll manage pumpless.
Did I mention this foundation is less than $8?
Dewy & Smooth is ideal for normal to dry skin. Matte & Poreless is ideal for normal to oily skin. (I use Matte & Poreless)
Ulta’s Gel Eye Liner Pencil is a super creamy, gel eyeliner pencil that provides effortless smooth application and lasting coverage. Want to know something even better? This eyeliner is only $8 per pencil and Ulta often says buy 2 get 2 sales! So yeah, you can get 4 eyeliners for $16!
I typically do not wear a full face of makeup on the weekends rather I whip on a layer of mascara and go on my merry way. And that is an awesome benefit of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara, you can see a difference with one stroke!
I actually received this mascara as part of a free gift from Ulta and I have been pleasantly surprised. Every once in a while my eyelashes think that they are a leading actor in Jumanji and the ULTA Maximum Lashes Mascara brush helps me get my lashes into their place.
NYX Professional Makeup Matte Bronzer keeps my vote for best bronzer from my original post. Throughout the day I often touch my face or play with my hair which both make my face oily. I love this bronzer because it is matte and does not have any glitter in it. This is not the 90s nor am I 16 anymore, I need a bronzer that gives me a honey glow all year around and NYX Professional Makeup Matte Bronzer does this perfectly!
BEST LIP MAKEUP
For the first time, I am actually backing a lip makeup! Santa put this Lip Shimmer in my stocking a year or so ago and you best believe that I asked Mr. Kringle for more Lip Shimmers this Christmas. First of all, have you ever met someone who doesn’t love Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Blam? Probably not. Now imagine getting all of the benefits that Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Blam provides but with a hint of color.
AND there are 12 colors to choose from so there really is a shade for everyone. I wear Peony and cannot wait to try other colors!
Do you use any of the best makeup products that I mentioned above or any of the products that I mention in my original post? Now it’s time for me to go makeup shopping… you know, for “research”.
Until next time,
